Finishing off the year with a win!
The Clockwise team are delighted to have won Best Mid-Range Budget (£25K-£50K) Campaign at the Construction Marketing Awards 2018.
The Construction Marketing Awards showcase the construction industry’s creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing. We beat off stiff competition from what the judges described as “the best crop of entries we’ve seen” and, along with our client Whitesales, were handed the award at a black tie ceremony at the Hilton London Bankside on the 29thNovember.
Our campaign for Whitesales – an established manufacturer and distributor of roof lights and other flat roofing products and accessories – introduced a new portal and product specifier tool to make the ordering process easier for merchants and contractors. RUFUS (Reliable, Unique, Fast, User-friendly, Specifier) took the form of a little Jack Russell, fronting a new high-impact, six-month campaign to launch the innovative specification tool and to place Whitesales firmly in the minds of merchants and contractors.
We were able to apply RUFUS to a range marketing communications, including advertising and PR in industry publications, email marketing, social media, a microsite and portal and POS materials. The campaign was a resounding success and it achieved the agreed aims with a 33% increase in sales and overall traffic up 24%.
The judges said, “Excellent creative. Nice use of character to create a more memorable campaign. A shed-load of activity for not much money!”
