Avondale is a firm of specialist advisers in business sales, mergers and acquisitions. Founded in 1991, it has established a reputation for its in-depth, strategic approach and expertise in corporate planning, with numerous awards gained over the years and ‘preferred provider’ status to the Institute of Directors.
Avondale wanted to raise the profile of the business and, in particular, increase the volume of leads from medium-sized businesses. This required an overhaul of the website, refreshing the design to give it a more modern, corporate look, establishing a tone of voice that was appropriate for the target market and enhancing its SEO for relevant search terms.
We carried out a full audit of the existing website and then, working within the brand guidelines, created a new design that combined a sharp, corporate look with clear, simple navigation. New optimised content was written to attract medium-sized M&A clients without alienating the existing SME sales audience. For imagery, we arranged and directed a photo shoot at The Shard, giving Avondale a resource of unique images for use on the website and beyond.
