CREATING A BUZZ

For an established creative agency offering a whole suite of Marketing services, sourcing a good event that provided us with the opportunity to showcase our talents was essential. We knew this would help to set us apart from our competitors and gain valuable new business leads.

NEED

Despite having over 20 years of experience offering creative marketing and communication solutions to businesses of differing sectors and sizes, we have only recently repositioned Clockwise within the marketplace, and identified our business as ‘full service marketing’. With the scope of marketing becoming broader, and pressure increasing in Marketing job roles, we wanted to place more focus on our strategic and holistic approach to our client’s marketing and ensure that both clients and prospects understood the breadth of our service offering.

SERVICES

Sourcing an event that suited us in terms of geographic location, audience, footfall and value for money – was the first task. The B2B Marketing Expo seemed to fit the bill and provided us with many additional services and benefits in the run up to the actual show. Most importantly of all, the event looked promising in the way it was being marketed and attracting delegate bookings. For our own stand – we knew that we wanted a bold design and to offer some engaging activity to help us to generate interesting conversations with our visitors. A BuzzWire game and industry survey helped us to meet our ‘engagement’ objectives and a competition helped us to grow our social media followings.

OUTCOME

The show fulfilled both our lead generation and brand awareness objectives. We have been able to add 100 quality leads to our prospect database, all of whom we know have been actively seeking our services with a genuine interest in using us. Our stand was a winner, in our opinion, and in the opinion of our visitors – most of whom commented on how compelling the design was and how pleasingly interactive it was.

We are in the process of converting the event leads into meetings and new business.
