e2s: WEBSITE & DIGITAL MARKETING
e2s is a US-based engineering, project development and delivery firm specialising in optimising building performance. Their services, which they provide to major corporations across the US, help building owners achieve better returns by reducing operating costs, streamlining capital expenditure and increasing occupant comfort and productivity.
With sustainability becoming increasingly important, e2s helps its clients to meet their emissions targets and comply with increasingly stringent regulations on energy consumption and waste. e2s had a strong proposition and an impressive portfolio of clients, and wanted to gain wider recognition for its technical expertise and the benefits it could bring to a wider client base. Clockwise was recommended by our client Livingstone Consulting, with whom e2s had an affiliation.
e2s initially came to Clockwise asking for help in modernising the look and feel of its website. We felt there was also a need for some small but impactful changes to the company branding. Off the back of this work, e2s asked us to run a full digital marketing campaign to help meet its aim of gaining wider recognition and building its client base.
We rewrote and redesigned the e2s website, with a more modern and engaging look and feel, up-to-date functionality and optimised content. We redesigned the brand to be more stylised and visually memorable, and carried the colour palette throughout the website and collateral, including case studies and service sheets.
To bring greater attention to the company, we proposed a digital content marketing strategy based around thought leadership articles, opinion pieces, case studies and short videos. The company had limited social media presence so we set up a corporate LinkedIn account and guided the team in how to utilise LinkedIn for networking and business development.
We work closely with e2s in researching the articles, which require deep technical understanding, and post them monthly on the website and via sponsored LinkedIn media posts, to a niche professional audience in selected US states. A weekly schedule of short LinkedIn posts helps to build a following and drive traffic to the website.
The audience is maximised through monthly SEO work on the website and ongoing Google Ads (PPC) campaigns, and the core content is backed up with a monthly newsletter emailed to a CRM list.
We report on the progress of the campaign in weekly marketing calls and a monthly report on website analytics and overall digital performance.

In the first month of managing e2s’ social media, we gained 60 followers, 797 impressions, 54 engagements and 37 clicks to the website. Boosting LinkedIn posts generated 50 clicks to the website.
We’ve grown significantly over the years, engaging with international scale clients, and wanted our digital fingerprint and presence to reflect our market leadership. Our technical depth and innovative solutions are not the easiest to showcase with quick sound bites and exciting graphics prevalent in today’s world. We worked with the team from Clockwise who had experience in our market sector and understood our challenge. They were able to bring our digital presence forward quickly, assisting with refining our brand image by launching a revitalized website with modernized logo, and creating marketing materials. They’ve also created our digital Marketing plan, including mechanisms for gaining awareness and recognition to help generate new opportunities in additional sectors.
