Part of Esure, one of the Top 10 insurance companies in the UK and a fellow resident of Reigate, Sheilas’ Wheels was launched in October 2005 to offer women drivers cheaper car insurance with female-targeted product enhancements. Six years on, the brand needed a freshen up and the Sheilas were looking a little – how can we put this – tired.
An agency to provide a full suite of marketing services and work closely and proactively with Esure’s marketing department to enable a fast, targeted turnover of marketing activity.
Being local to the client was a major benefit, especially when it came to arranging a new photoshoot with the Sheilas for planned B2C DM and email campaigns. We came up with the concept of the shoot, art directed and managed the whole thing in a local studio, making it easy for the client to attend. We also looked at the website and made some changes to the UX to improve its usability for the consumer market.

By taking control of art direction for Sheilas’ Wheels direct mail and email campaigns, we gave the brand a subtle but effective freshen up that was applied to all its B2C business. The result was a brighter, more modern look for an established brand that took its TV advertising seamlessly into the print media.
