TOUGH LOVE

Ultrimax (www.ultrimaxcoatings.co.uk) is an established, family owned wholesale supplier of industrial paint supplies, specialist coatings, paint shop consumables and spray equipment. Prominent among the industries the company supplies is the repair and refurbishment of railway rolling stock.

NEED

One of the products Ultrimax supplied was a tearproof, flameproof, anti-slip plastic film, used for floor protection in paint shops. The company saw potential for this product range beyond its current use and wanted to brand it and launch it at a forthcoming railway industry expo.

RESPONSE

We presented Ultrimax with a selection of brand names and logo designs for the product, including the eventual choice, Tuffalo, which reflected its tough, resilient, hide-like properties. We then created an entire launch package for Tuffalo, including website, exhibition stand and promo materials in time for the Railtex exhibition in May 2017.

OUTCOME

Tuffalo launched successfully at Railtex 2017, with the new brand name registered with the Intellectual Property Office. Our SEO strategy also succeeded in securing a top five position on Google PageRank for the Tuffalo website in time for the exhibition. Tuffalo is now ranking at an average position of 2 with their selected keywords. Inbound enquiries for the new product range have been increasing steadily since.
