While most modern marketing methods strive to find ways to reconnect with the human factor, the trade show never lost it.

It is all about ‘being there’, meeting prospects face-to-face and hitting them with the first-hand wow factor. So it’s essential that you make your presence felt.

The number one golden rule is ‘have something to show’. That’s trade shows – no show, no trade. It’s not enough just to turn up with a stand presenting your business in general and hope people will stop and talk to you. You need a big draw: a cool car, a clever tool, a smart piece of software. If you don’t have anything new and exciting among your products and services, you might want to think twice about splashing out on stand space at a trade show.
