The UK’s 18th Construction Marketing Awards has announced that the Clockwise entry for ‘Best Mid-range Budget Campaign’ has been shortlisted for an award.
The awards programme, which showcases the creativity, innovation and effectiveness in marketing and recognises excellence across the industry, was the perfect platform to share the outstanding campaign that Clockwise worked on for Whitesales and the launch of their new online product configurator tool.
RUFUS (Reliable, Unique, Fast, User-friendly, Specifier) took the form of a little Jack Russell, fronting a new high impact, six-month campaign to launch the innovative specification tool. Naming and branding the online tool and merchant portal, made it both appealing and memorable, and this mid-range budget campaign exceeded corporate and marketing objectives and brought a tangible return on investment in just six months.
Simon Ellis, MD at Clockwise says “We’re delighted that our work for this campaign has been recognised at an industry level. The RUFUS character was great fun to create and develop and this shortlisting is testimony to the campaign delivering outstanding results for Whitesales.”
RUFUS has fast become an industry name and will no doubt be fronting many foreseeable promotional campaigns. Winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner Presentation on 29th November.
